Roots: Bible Survey
2024 Winter & Spring Semester:
BIBLE SURVEY: PART 1 - WHAT IS THE BIBLE?
This course is for ages 6th Grade and above. This course is intended to help you get to know and understand the Bible by digging into its' main themes and the big story it is telling, seeing why the message of the Bible matters. We’ll answer questions like What is the Bible? What is the Old Testament? What’s the New Testament? How does it all fit together?
The more you understand what the Bible is, what it’s saying, who’s saying it and why, and how it all fits together the better prepared you will be to live as a disciple of Jesus impacting the world for Him. We ask that you make being present for each session a priority. *Childcare is not provided. If childcare is needed, please speak with your House Church Pastor to discuss possible options.
Length of Training: 6 Sessions
When: Third Wednesday of each Month / January - June
First Session: January 24, 2024 / **There are 5 Wednesdays in January so we will meet the 4th Wednesday instead of the 3rd Wednesday for this month only.
Time: 7-8:30pm (coffee and tea provided)

ROOTS is a Discipleship Training ministry of Living Church. The purpose for ROOTS is to support our house churches in the equipping and training of made and new disciples of Jesus. Roots trains in understanding biblical truth, helping disciples of Jesus apply and translate biblical truth into everyday life, leading to obedience to Jesus, spiritual fruit, and a multiplication of disciples for the glory of Jesus.
