The Gospel Of Mark - Chapter 10
In Gospel of Mark 10, the story of Bartimaeus shows that while many around Jesus were spiritually blind to the cries of the needy, a blind beggar saw clearly enough to call out in faith to the “Son of David.” Jesus stopped for him, healed him, and showed that no one who cries out for mercy is overlooked. Bartimaeus begins the story begging by the roadside, but ends it seeing clearly and following Jesus on that same road.
